The Mountain Volleyball Club (MVC) 17U team opened their season with a Gold medal at the 17U Girls Provincial Cup – Trillium B in Georgetown.
In the round robin, MVC 17U beat Georgetown Impact 17U 25-18, 12-25, 15-12 and then defeated the Waterdown Raiders 25-20, 25-11.
In the quarter finals, MVC 17U defeated Hamilton Smash 25-19, 25-12. In the semi finals, MVC 17U pressed through Georgetown Impact 16U 25-20, 25-21. In the Gold medal match, MVC 17U defeated the K-W Predators Purple 25-20, 25-13 to take home the championship and head up a division.
