4th Place for MVC 17U at Championship

A day of adversity for MVC at the Bugarski Cup: an injury, a missing player, and too many errors to tally. Always in control of their own destiny, the unforced errors quickly contributed to what was MVC's most challenging day of the season thus far.

In pool play, MVC defeated Hamilton Smash 25-11, 25-22 and lost a close match to Lakeside 25-22, 25-27, 14-16 to come second in their pool. They beat the Predators for the 4th consecutive time this year in 3 sets 28-26, 19-25, 15-12 to move on to the semi finals. Against Forest City 16U, the #1 ranked team at their own age division, MVC lost 22-25, 19-25, and in the bronze medal match, MVC lost again to Lakeside 23-25, 21-25.

Moving forward to Ontario Championships in April, MVC will look to continue to control their matches by reducing their errors and staying positive moving ahead.
