Another Bronze for MVC 17U at 18U

Competing with injuries and missing players, MVC 17U was still able to win bronze at Trillium B for 18U. In the round robin MVC beat Galaxy Black 18U 25-13, 25-20 and defeated Georgetown Impact 17U for a third time this season 25-21, 25-20.

In the quarter finals MVC took care of Niagara Rapids for the second time this year, winning 25-23, 25-10. They met the Guelph Grizzlies 18U in the semi finals, along with the help of a few call ups from their 17U team, who were too strong on the day for MVC, beating them in 3 sets by a score of 20-25, 25-11, 15-11. In the bronze medal game, MVC took on Georgetown again, for the fourth time of the year, defeating Impact 17U by a score of 25-18, 23-25, 15-10 to earn a top 3 finish.

MVC 17U has now medalled in all 4 of their tournaments (gold, bronze, bronze, bronze).
