Gold for MVC 17U at 18U

Playing up a year at the 18U Trillium B tournament, MVC took home a gold medal. Not dropping a set all day, the team cruised to straight set victories over Georgian Cubs Midland 25-16, 25-6 and EVP Eagles 15-19, 25-9.
In the Quarter Finals MVC took on their 18U team, winning 25-21, 25-19 in their closest match of the day. Waterdown Raiders 17U were defeated in the Semi Finals 25-19, 25-16 to allow MVC 17U a shot at a gold medal. The girls were more than up for the opportunity, downing Barrie Elites 25-17, 25-14 to claim the gold medal.
This is MVC 17U's sixth straight medal this season (Gold, Bronze, Bronze, Bronze, Gold, Gold).
