MVC 17U Wins Gold in Championship A
In Round Robin play, MVC 17U defeated Georgetown Impact for the 5th consecutive time this season by a score of 25-23, 16-25, 15-10. In their second match they lost a close battle against the Georgian Cubs 25-10, 24-26, 13-15.
In the Quarter Finals MVC downed a close 2 set match against Niagara Rapids 25-23, 25-22. Forest City 17U was beaten 25-15, 25-17 in the Semi Finals, and in the Gold medal match, MVC needed three sets to win the tournament against Lakeside 25-22, 18-25, 15-12.
MVC 17U has now medalled in all 5 of their tournaments this season (Gold, Bronze, Bronze, Bronze, Gold).
